Rev. Clyde D. Talley

Bio:

 

Rev. Talley is an award-winning speaker, has completed all his religious studies under the A.M.E. Zion Church and is an ordained minister.  He has held all organizational offices in the church such as Trustee, Steward, Treasurer, Choir Director, and is currently serving as District Treasurer, and Conference Budget Chair, Conference Board of Admissions, and District and New England Conference Studies Committees.  He has served as Pastor of 5 churches and while currently serving as Senior Pastor of the Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church in Worcester, MA has led their congregation to their new place of worship on Illinois St.

 

A native of Springfield, MA, he has served in corporate America for over 30 years in both the public and private sectors with his last position serving as Director of Operations.  He has been involved in Toastmasters (a communication and leadership organization) for over 20 years.  He has served several offices including District Governor of the organization covering Eastern New York, Western MA, and all of Connecticut.  He is also the creator and presenter of the “Inspired Excellence” seminar and workshops and is a certified trainer for the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People Workshops.

 

As a professional speaker/lecturer for over 25 years, Rev. Talley has given workshops and presentations to various businesses, colleges, local and civic organizations.  He is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and the International Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.

 

Rev. Talley is also serving as President and CEO of Yes We Care, Inc., a 501C3 community agency and is involved in several community organizations within Worcester such as serving as Treasurer/Board Member for the United Way of Central MA, Incorporator at the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, President of the Worcester Black Clergy Alliance, and has served as Chief Executive Officer and President of the Board of Directors of Early Childhood Centers (ECC) in Springfield.  Under his leadership, ECC built a new 4.5 million-dollar facility.

 

He has a master’s degree in Management from Cambridge College with certifications in Diversity and Organizational Development and holds several other professional certifications.

 

He is happily married to Yolanda and has two wonderful sons Caleb and Donnell.
